Zane Hadzick became involved with health and fitness out of necessity when he discovered he suffered from an extreme case of hypoglycemia, which would develop into diabetes without a significant diet and lifestyle changes. Headed down the wrong path in life, Zane found himself with a low self-esteem, a college drop-out, and in need of positive change. He found himself searching for structure in his life and an outlet for his emotions. This culminated in his decision to make fitness and a healthy lifestyle a new part of his life. Zane learned everything he could related to fitness, proper nutrition, and living a well-balanced and healthy lifestyle. He spent months fervently reading articles and becoming motivated! He found himself determined to improve his own life as well as those surrounding him. What Zane didn’t know at that moment was that this newfound interest or “hobby” would entirely change his life and the person he was to become!
Zane, using core principles of the new lifestyle he was living, developed his “I = CAN” equation and attitude
(where I is the Impact, C is Consistency, A is Aspirations, and N is Never give up)
Zane re-enrolled in school as a first generation college student and applied his equation to every challenge in his life. With newfound conviction, Zane went on to graduate summa cum laude with additional highest honors and a 4.0 GPA, spoke at his graduation, won numerous outstanding senior awards, and published multiple scientific papers. Additionally, he continued his success in graduate school by maintaining his 4.0 GPA, winning awards for academic performance, and winning teaching awards. What’s more, when Zane began he was a 120 pound, unhealthy drop-out and when he finished he was happy, healthy, and 181 pounds.
Today, Zane finds himself as a trained environmental scientist, fitness model, and sponsored athlete with TEAM Bodybuilding.com, Quest Nutrition, and ProMera Sports as well as an ambassador for Fitmark Bags, and Phit Hair and Body. Zane routinely does his best to help others achieve their fitness and health aspirations, which further inspires him and creates a positive feedback loop that fuels and motivates both the success of the individuals he’s helping as well as himself!
Now Zane wants to give back, share his “I = CAN” equation and attitude, and take his career to the next level!
