Using the bands while you squat can help you add significant strength in your squat. Research shows that by adding bands with free weight you can see up to a 25% increase in your lower leg strength as well as increase your power output. The benefit is that the weight increases as well as the speed that you can ultimately move the weight. Make sure to start (if you havent already) using the bands when you train. -Mike McErlane
