Yet another Version of the bench Press is the Incline Bench press. This movement is primarily performed to help develop the upper pecs. Although other bench pressing exercises such as the reverse grip bench have shown to have more benefit in developing the upper pecs, you should still utilize this great and traditional exercise. The Anterior delts or front part of the shoulders are also a muscle that help dramatically in performing this movement. Be sure not to train shoulders and do shoulder pressing exercises after or on the same day you perform this movement as it can fatigue the delts, and not allow for proper strength to be used to press weight while trying to train shoulders. -Mike McErlane
