Increase your Power with just a Medicine Ball
Athletes and individuals who want to get more out of their training are constantly looking for new innovative ways to train. Utilizing different equipment and methods of training are a specialty of our very own Jonathan Williams. The Medicine Ball is a great piece of equipment that if used correctly with the correct techniques can help increase your power output and also give you a whole new method of training to add to your program.
There are two basic types of medicine balls that we will be using in this series. First there is the heavy soft Medicine ball called the Dynamax ball which is used for movements that require maximum power output to lift throw and or toss. There is no rebound or bounce with these types of medicine balls which can be very beneficial for certain movements. The second type of medicine ball we will be using is called a Spri or Dynamic medicine ball which has rebound or bounce. These two different types of medicine balls alone can give you a killer power workout.
