Is it neccessary to squeeze your shoulder blades together during the bench press and other chest pressing exercises?
In anatomy, the scapula, or shoulder blade, is the bone that connects the upper arm bone with the collar bone.
So, while it not necessary to squeeze your shoulder blades when training chest, for upper chest your should be squeezing the area by your collar bone.
