dead lifts: back or legs
Are dead lifts better for working legs or back?
They hit both, but in my experience I like to do DL’s on back day because they are so exhausting and intense, the entire back musculature needs a break, making it counter productive to do them on leg day. You may want to combine legs and back in one workout, if you are not doing a tremendous amount of volume per muscle group.
