shoulder tears
I have small tears in the tendons in both shoulders. What would be the best exercises to help build up the rotator cuff area?
Quite honestly it would be internal and external shoulder rotations with the use of the strength bands. these movements keep the shoulder joint from hyperextending which is the most common reason why tears of the superficial fibers occur. Extending too far on flys, going behind the neck without proper technique and too much weight for lat pulldowns, shoulder press etc…are more than likely things you are either doign or have done. From now on, go in front of the head in every pressing or pulling motion. Also for front raises sounds like you might be doing them with your palms facing downward rather than neutral.
