Getting Ripped
I am a 29 year old woman, that wants to know how many exercises should i do a day?
I go to the gym 5 times a week and have been working one muscle group (i.e. Back, Shoulders, Chest, Legs, and Arms) along with abs every other day. But, i am asking what i should do to make sure that i am not overworking my muscles.
I usually do 4-6 different exercises per muscle group, depending on the body part—2-3 sets each. You will know if you are overtraining by the following responses: body plateau, inability to get a pump during workouts, trouble sleeping etc. Listen to your body and understand the difference between accomplishing an effective workout and over-doing it.
