Looking into a new workout schedule. unsure about it though help??

What i want to do is start off with chest/triceps, next day would be back and biceps, then quads. then a day off. then i would do shoulders. then every other week alternate with chest and back. then hamstrings/calves. then off and repeat. what do you think?

I am not 100% sure I understand the split you are talking about here. You really should be training each body part once per week for sure, with abs and calves perhaps twice per week. You certainly can do chest and tris; back and bis; then you should take a day off. Then you can do quads and hams; then you can do shoulder and traps with perhaps a little more of either biceps or triceps. Then take 2 days off and repeat.
